Matter
A physical substance that takes up space and has mass.
Particle

Heterogenous (mechanical mixture)

A substance that is made up of only one type of atom.
Chemical bond
A force that holds atoms together in a molecule or compound.
Compound
A group of two or more atoms from different elements that are chemically bonded together in a fixed ratio.
Molecule
A group of two or more atoms that are chemically bonded together.
Pure substance
A physical substance made of only one type of particle.
