Catch the facts: This means noting key details and information conveyed.

By paraphrasing the speaker's words to confirm understanding and show engagement.

“I hear you saying…”
“It sounds like you are…”

“So, correct me if I’m wrong but what your saying is…”
"I understand that you feel…"
"What I'm getting from you is…"
"It appears that you're saying…"

These refer to various techniques used to continue a conversation after reflecting on someone's message. Each approach may include clarifying questions, providing feedback, or expressing empathy, depending on the context, which can enhance understanding and strengthen the relationship.
USE Feedback/Advice/Suggestion in a scenario where the speaker has shared a concern or problem. By offering constructive feedback, you demonstrate active engagement and support their efforts to find a solution. This can foster trust and encourage open dialogue.
USE Clarifying Open Ended Questions in a scenario where the listener needs more information or clarity. This invites the speaker to elaborate, ensuring that both parties are on the same page and that misunderstandings are minimized. Asking open-ended questions encourages the speaker to share their thoughts further, deepening the conversation.
