Symmetry

Is one part of a shape or object image of another part. It is the perfect balance, proportion, & harmony found all around us—in Mathematics, art and nature; is a fundamental concept in mathematics, science, art, and nature that describes balance, proportion, and harmony in shapes, patterns, or objects.

Reflection symmetry

also called line symmetry or mirror symmetry, is a type of symmetry where one half of an object is the mirror image of the other half across a line

Axis of symmetry

The dividing line is called the line of symmetry or the axis of symmetry

Rotational symmetry

Also called as Radial symmetry; if you rotate a shape the right amount, the rotated shape will match the original shape.

Center of rotation

Is the fixed point about which the rotation occurs.

Angle of rotational symmetry

This is the smallest such angle of rotation that maps the figure on itself.
