Difference between Primary, Secondary & Tertiary Industries?
Primary Industries - These of sectors that focus on collect materials from the earth within itself. i.e Forestry, Mining and Agriculture.
Secondary Industries - These are sectors that focus on using primary industries purpose and creating these into consumer goods. i.e Automotive, Electronics
Tertiary Industry - These are sectors that provide services based on the secondary industries purpose. i.e Legal, banking.
What is the two product categories?
Consumer goods - Products purchased by a consumer
Capital goods - These are products that are purchased by the manufacture.
What is a job shop?
These are companies that make small number of products due to the complexity of there design.

How can we define a metal? + Two types

These are materials that created in two or more phases. Having multiple materials combined within each other creating property state that individual not possible.

Deformation Processes - Starting the material as a ductile solid.

Difference between Tolerancing & Dimensioning?
Dimensioning - Uses the linear and angular portion of the specific design.
Tolerancing - Allowing variation of different parts to adjust for unperfect factors
What is Bilateral Tolerancing?
This means that tolerance of a dimension piece is in both the positive values and the negative values. While also not having to be the same value in itself
What is Unilateral Tolerance?
This a tolerance type that only permits positive tolerancing or negative tolerancing on the perfect dimension size.
What is Limit Dimensions?
This is a tolerance where it has a upper limit and a lower limit present only. (4.995 - 5.003).
Difference between MMC and LMC?
MMC - Most Material Condition. Smallest Hole and Largest Shaft.
LMC - Least Material Condition. Smallest Shaft and Largest Hole.
MMC is a tight fit
LMC is a loose fit
Interference Fit
This is where a hole and shaft must be inserted manually by human for or hydraulically depending on the component itself.
What does GD&T
What geometric dimensioning and tolerancing represent is focused on the shape and location of the tolerance.
