NMD90
used for wiring outlets, switches, fixtures in dry or damp locations. Rated for 90C and 300 Volts.
NMWU
Non Metallic Wet Underground. Moisture resistant electric cable designed for direct burial or wet locations, such as sheds, garages it outdoor post lighting. Rated for 300V-600V
AC90
Flexible interlocked (aluminum armoured) cable commonly used in Canada for dry open, concealed electrical wiring. Typically used for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Rated for 600V
TECK90
Highly durable armoured cable designed for Industrial, commercial and mining applications. It is suitable for direct burial, Hazardous locations, and harsh environments, Rated for 600V or 1000V
RW90
Is a versatile 600V or 1000V electrical wire commonly used in Canadian residential and commercial construction, and features polyethylene insulation rated for 90C in wet or dry locations. it is sunlight resistant and ideal for conduit, or exposed wiring
T90 Nylon
600V copper conductor used for residential, Commercial, and industrial settings. It is specifically designed for installation in conduit raceways and cable trays for circuits, feeders and service applications, Rated for dry or damp locations at 90C
NS75, NS90
Refer to types of Neutral Supported (NS) Cables. These are overhead service cables commonly seen running from a utility power pole to a residential or commercial building. The difference between the two are their temperature rating and insulation used. NS75 Uses polythene, 75C rating=Lower Ampacity, Standard Weather resistance. NS90 uses Cross linked polythene. Higher Temp Rating = More ampacity and Superior resistance Heat.
EMT
Electrical Metallic Tubing, It is a thin walled, Unthreaded steel raceway commonly used to Protect and Route Electrical wiring in residential, Commercial, and industrial buildings. Its called thin walled because it is much lighter and easier to work with than heavy duty Rigid metal conduit.
RMC
Rigid metal conduit, The thickest and heaviest protective piping for electrical wiring available.
Rigid PVC conduit
Rigid (Polyvinyl Chloride) Is the most popular non-metallic raceway used in electrical construction, Unlike EMT or RMC, It is made of high-strength plastic, making it completely immune to rust and corrosion
Flexible conduit
Used to navigate tight bends and protect wires in a floating environment
Liquid-Tight flexible conduit
A waterproof plastic jacket shrunk over metal, Used for out doors connections to AC units, Pool pumps or hot tubs.
Surface raceway
A system of channels and fittings designed to route electrical wires and cables along the exterior of a wall or ceiling.
Underfloor raceway
An electrical system embedded within or located beneath a floor. It is designed to provide power, Data, and communication connectivity to open space environments like modern offices, banks, or retail stores, without the need for visible conduits or overhead power poles
Busway
Is a prefabricated electrical distribution system that uses solid metal bars (conductors) housed in a protective enclosure.
Cable tray
A Structural system used to support and protect insulated electrical cables is used for power distribution, control, and communication.
Splitter
an enclosure containing fixed terminal blocks that allow you to split a single main incoming power feed into multiple smaller outgoing branch circuits
Wireway
a sheet metal or plastic trough with a removable or hinged cover, used to house and protect electrical wires and cables
