Order of Operations
The sequence of mathematical steps summarized as Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication and Division (left to right), and Addition and Subtraction (left to right).
Ratio
A relationship of 2 quantities using division or fraction.
Ratio of A to B
A comparison of two values represented as A:B or written in fractional form as BA.
KCF
An acronym for Keep-Change-Flip used as an operation step with fractions.
Ratio of Female Students to Total Students
In the lecture example with 10 females and 3 males, the ratio of female students to total students is 13 students10 Females.
