Dihybrid cross
A genetic cross between individuals that involves two genes, each consisting of heterozygous alleles
Law of independent assortment

Discontinuous variation
traits that fall into distinct, clear-cut categories with no intermediate values between them
Continuous variation
a characteristic that changes gradually over a full range of values rather than fitting into separate, distinct categories
