Strong Acids
Acids that fully dissociate into ions when dissolved in H2O.
Weak Acids
Acids that only partially dissociate when dissolved in H2O.
7 Strong Acids
HNO3, H2SO4, HCl, HClO4, HClO3, HBr, and HI. Any acid outside of this list is considered a weak acid.
Strong Bases
NaOH, KOH, and Ba(OH)2.
Weak Base
NH3(g).
