Euphemism in Technical Writing
- refers to the use of mild, indirect, or less
emotionally charged words to present sensitive,
unpleasant, or potentially negative information
professionally and respectfully.
- is a careful choice of words used to make difficult,
delicate, or unfavorable information sound clear
yet tactful, without being rude, offensive, or
overly blunt.
Purpose of Euphemism in Technical Writing
