Erosion
The process involving the wearing away of the Earth's surface and the removal of sediments.

Barchan
A crescent-shaped sand dune formed by wind.
Meanders
Winding bends formed in the course of a river.
Moraines
Sediment deposits carried and left behind by glaciers.
Atmosphere
A layer of gases surrounding the Earth, mainly composed of nitrogen.
Troposphere
The lowest layer of the atmosphere where most weather phenomena occur.
Stratosphere
The atmospheric layer where the ozone layer is mainly found.
Ozone Layer
A layer mainly found in the stratosphere that protects life from harmful ultraviolet radiation.
Weather
The condition of the atmosphere at a particular place and time, which changes over a short period.
Climate
The average weather conditions or long-term average pattern of weather of a place over a long period.
Barometer
An instrument used to measure atmospheric pressure.
Humidity
The amount of water vapour present in the air.
Rain Gauge
An instrument used to measure rainfall.
Precipitation
Moisture falling from the atmosphere, whose forms include rain, snow, and hail.
Atmospheric Pressure
The force exerted by atmospheric gases, which generally decreases as altitude increases.
