hypothesis and a prediction

A hypothesis is more like I guess or I believe and prediction more like a if then statement

dependent and independent variables

Dependent variables are the outcomes being measured in an experiment, while independent variables are the factors that are manipulated or changed to observe their effect on the dependent variables

water parameters

PH, Temp, Conductivity, Teurbity, Total Phosphates, Total, Nitrates, Dissolved Oxygen,fecal coliform

PH

its a scale of acidic to basic the water is below 7 more acidic above 7 is more basic and its important life forms can live in certain PH balances

temp

just the temp of the water certain animals can live certain waters

Conductivity,

The water conducts electricity and more ion in the water the more conductivity and a change in the conductivity can create pollution in the water

Teurbity

how cloudy the water is and its important because it can block sunlight from the water

Total Phosphates

soil erosion and can cause eutrophicaton

Total Nitrates

cause eutrophicaton

Dissolved Oxygen

some life forms in the water still needs oxygen and different life forms need different amount of oxygen in the word

fecal coliform

the poop from warm blooded animals

estuatries

where fresh water and salt water meet and they support maybe different kinds of life forms

there is a increase of nutrions increase algae in the area and it cause orgams in that area to die because it takes oxygen away from them
