Model vs Theory
A model is a visual representation of a phenomenon or behavior. A theory explains why a behavior or a phenomenon occurs.
Social Cognitive theory
People learn behaviors by observing others, processing information cognitively and interacting with their environment.
Personal Cognitive influences
Self-Efficacy: a persons confidence in their ability to perform an exercise
Collective efficacy: Belief in the ability of a group of individuals to perform an exercise.
