Population density
The number of individuals per unit of area, which varies with the environment, available resources, and time of year or season.
Dispersion
The spacing of individuals relative to each other, categorized as clumped, uniform, or random, and affected by resources as well as physical or social constraints.
Characteristics of Populations
Shared biological features of a population, which include having a common gene pool and similar adaptations.
Clumped dispersion
The main pattern of dispersion relative to each other, influenced by available resources and physical or social constraints.
Age structure diagrams
Diagrams compared to evaluate population growth patterns, such as rapidly increasing populations versus 0 growth populations.
