Anmian
Location: Halfway between TW 17 and GB 20. Indication: Insomnia, mania, agitated spirit. Calms the shen and the LV.
Bafeng
Location: Toe webs. Indication: Feet, irregular menstruation, clears heat, headache.
Baichongwo
Location: 1 cun superior to SP 10. Indication: Hot skin diseases, especially itching. Clears wind, drains damp.
Bailao/Jingbailao
Location: 1 cun lateral and 2 cun superior to C7. Indication: Cough, SOB, steaming bones, lung px, stiff neck, sweating.
Baxie
Location: Finger webs. Indication: Numbness, pain, stiffness or swelling of the fingers. Any swelling on yang channels.
Bitong / Shangyingxiang
Location: Highest point of nasolabial groove. Indication: Treats the nose. Can be threaded to LI 20.
Bizhong
Location: Exact middle of forearm (6 cun) on PC line. Indication: Opens PC Channel and Luo vessels locally.
Chonggu Zhuidong
Location: Below C6 on GV line. Indication: Calms shen, expels wind.
Dagukong
Location: Dorsal aspect in thumb, at the midpoint of PIP joint. Indication: Clears heat, harmonizes TW.
Dangyang
Location: Level with pupil, 1 cun posterior from AHL. Indication: Expels wind and heat, alleviates pain.
Dannangxue
Location: 1-2 cun distal to GB 34 on right leg. Indication: Gall Bladder point. Treats cholecystitis/stones.
Dingchuan
Location: 0.5 cun lateral to C7. Indication: Asthma, wheezing, dyspnea, cough.
Duyin
Location: Plantar aspect of 2nd toe in DIPs joint. Indication: Acute angina, rib pain, nausea, vomiting, retention of lochia, inguinal hernia, menses.
Erbai
Location: 4 cun from wrist crease on either side of the flexor carpi radialis. Indication: Rectal prolapse, hemorrhoids.
Erjian
Location: Ear apex. Indication: Eyes and throat, high fever, hypertension, allergies, clears heat and swelling.
Haiquan
Location: Sublinguial center of frenulum, between Jinjin & Yuye. Indication: Mouth or tongue ulcers, hiccups, tied tongue, facial paralysis, diabetes, abd issues.
Heding
Location: Midpoint of superior border of patella. Indication: Treats the knee, moves qi and blood.
Huanmen
Location: 1.5 cun lateral to the prominence of T5 (Note: this point is slightly superior to BL 15). Indication: Treats the 5 taxations & 7 injuries, steaming bones. Clears heat, tonifies yin. Moxa with BL 43 or add to 4 Flowers (BL 17 & 19) for severe deficiency.
Hunshe
Location: 1 cun lateral to CV 8. Indication: Indigestion. Dysentery.
Huanzhong
Location: Halfway between GB 30 and GV 2. Indication: Lumbar and thigh pain.
Huatojiaji
Location: 34 pts (T1-L5) 21 cun lateral to DU line, level with spinous processes. Indication: T1-T4 Lung & Arms, T4-T7 Heart, T7-T10 LV/GB, T10-T12 SP/ST, LI-L2 KD, L3-L5 Bladder, intestines, legs, uterus. According to CAM: T1-T8 Chest, T6-L5 Abdomen, LI-L5 Legs, T1-T3 Arms.
Jianchengjiang
Location: 1 cun lateral to CV 24. Indication: Facial paralysis, trigeminal neuralgia, toothache, swelling gums, jaundice, wind & pain.
Jianqian/JIanneling
Location: Halfway between LI 15 and axillary crease. Indication: Shoulder.
Juquan
Location: Midpoint of the midline on the tongue (superior aspect). Indication: Tongue/speech issues, especially after stroke.
Jingbi
Location: 31 from the midline, in supraclavicular fossa. Avoid brachial plexus. Indication: Paralysis. Parasthesia.
Jiehexue
Location: 3.5 cun lateral to T7. Indication: Tuberculosis point.
Jinjin & Yuye
Location: Right and Left sublingual veins, respectively. Indication: Tongue/voice/speech issues. Prick to bleed to clear heat, reduce swelling. Diabetes.
Kuangu
Location: 2 points 1.5 cun lateral and medial to ST 34. Indication: Pain in the knee or leg.
Lanweixue
Location: 2 cun lateral to ST 36. Indication: Fire poison in the LI (appendicitis point).
Li Neiting
Location: Oppostite ST 44 on palmar aspect of foot. Indication: Food retention point.
Luozhen
Location: Dorsum of hand, proximal to joint of 2nd & 3rd fingers. Indication: Means "stiff neck". Upper cervicals and neck pain.
Neihuaijian
Location: Inner tip of medial malleolus. Indication: Deficiency problems: Moxa for toothache, tonsillitis, calf spasm.
Naoqing
Location: 2 cun proximal to ST 42 on ST line. Indication: Clears the brain. Sleepiness, forgetfulness, giddinesss.
Neiyingxiang
Location: Inside the nose, opposite its external point Bitong. Indication: Clears heat and fire from the nose.
Pigen
Location: 3.5 cun lateral to L1. Indication: Harmonizes upper and middle burners. Moves blood stasis.
Qianzheng
Location: 0.5 - 1 cun anterior to ear lobe. Indication: Deviation of eyes and mouth. Ulceration of tongue and mouth.
Qiduan
Location: Tips of toes. Indication: Fainting, edema of the feet, acute abdominal pain.
Qipang
Location: The 2 lower points that make the sanjiaojiu triangle. Indication: Same as Sanjiaojiu. Harmonizes middle burner.
Sanjiaojiu
Location: 3 equi-distant points that make a triangle with CV 8 at the apex. Each line is the width of the patients smile. Indication: Chronic diarrhea, abdominal pain, running piglet.
Shanglianquan
Location: 1 cun below midpoint of lower jaw. Indication: Speech delay, sore throat, stiff tongue with drooling, loss of voice.
Shiquizuixue
Location: Below L5 on GV line. Indication: Tonifies KD, chronic back pain, urination px.
Shixuan
Location: Tips of fingers. Indication: Loss of consciousness. Pacifies wind, clears heat.
Sifeng
Location: Palmar aspect of hand, midpoint of each PIPs joint except the thumb. Indication: Tonifies the SP, dispels accumulations, especially for childhood malnutrition issues.
Sishencong
Location: 4 points, 1 cun anterior, posterior and lateral from GV 20. Indication: Shen, wind, eyes, ears, memory, insomnia, headache, dizziness, epilepsy, emotions.
Siqiang
Location: 4.5 cun superior from Heding. Indication: Paralysis or atrophy of quad muscles.
Taiyang
Location: 1 cun posterior to the midpoint of lateral eyebrow and canthus. Indication: Headache, eye px, breast px when combined with SI 1.
Tituo
Location: 4 cun lateral to CV 4. Indication: Primarily for uterine prolapse. Also dysmenorrhea and abdominal pain.
Tunzhong
Location: Halfway from BL 54 to edge of buttocks, level with BL 34 & 54. Indication: Local pain in the buttocks.
Waihuajian
Location: Outer tip of lateral malleolus. Indication: Excess problems: Prick to bleed for headache, toothache, paraplegia.
Wailaogong
Location: Opposite PC 8 on dorsum of hand, between 2nd & 3rd digits. Indication: May be the same point as Luozhen. Treats stiff neck.
Weiguanxiashu/Yi shu
Location: 1.5 cun lateral to T8 on BL line. Indication: Diabetes point. Clears heat and generates fluids. Good for dry throat.
Weishang
Location: 2 cun superior to SP 15 (Note: slightly inferior to SP 16). Indication: Stomach prolapse. Abdominal pain.
Xiaogukong
Location: Dorsal aspect of pinky finger at the midpoint of the PIPs joint. Indication: Eye swelling, especially conjunctivitis. Sore throat.
Xiajishu
Location: 3 points: GV 3 and 2 more that are 3 cun lateral to GV 3. Indication: Tonifes KD Yang.
Xiyan/Neixiyan
Location: Eyes of the knees. Indication: Knee pain. Wind damp bi syndrome.
Yaotongxue
Location: 2 points on the dorsum of wrist: TW 4 & another btw 2nd & 3rd digits. Indication: Lumbar sprain.
Yaoyan
Location: Lumbar eyes – 3.5 cun lateral to L4. Indication: Treats the KD and lumbar pain.
Yaoyi
Location: 3 cun lateral to L4 (Note: slighlty more medial than Yaoyan). Indication: Like Yaoyan, treats lumbar pain.
Yiming
Location: 1 cun posterior to TW 17 (Note: Anmian is more posterior). Indication: Disorders of the eyes, ears, dizziness, insomnia.
Yintang
Location: Halfway between medial borders of eyebrows. Indication: Expels wind, calms shen, benefits nose, treats pain.
