CAVITE MUTINY 1872

-A failed uprising against the Spaniards resulting in

disarmed imprisoned, and death of Filipino

soldiers.

-All suspected to be involved in the mutiny were

also arrested and executed.

-Though it was suppressed, the Spanish

Government used it as a pretext to execute GOMBURZA(Mariano Gomez, Jose Burgos,

Jacinto Zamora)

-GOMBURZA was executed by garrote at

Bagumbayan on February 15, 1872 for plotting the

revolution.
