In-Situ
is a hearing test and checks a person’s hearing using their own hearing aids. Instead of using headphones in a soundproof room, the test is carried out while the hearing aids are in the ears. The results can then be used to adjust the hearing aids to suit the individual’s ears.
AutoREM
Frequency Compression 2.0
It moves high-pitched sounds that are difficult to hear into a lower pitch range, making them easier to hear and helping the wearer understand speech more clearly and stay aware of the sounds around them.
Dynamic Noise Reduction
It reduces background noise and focuses on speech coming from in front of the hearing aid wearer, making conversations easier to follow, even in noisy environments.
Pulse Protector
Instantly suppresses sudden, loud and irritating sounds without affecting the speech and sounds the client wants to hear.
Phase Canceller/Feedback Manager
Uses phase cancellation to instantly suppress annoying whistling or feedback.
Deep Neural Network (DNN)
An advanced form of AI designed to take on complex commands, like signal processing in real-time. DNN is trained on huge amounts of sound data to identify the acoustic patterns of human speech and distinguish voices from background noise in real-time.
Equaliser
Provides clients with the ability to customise their sound by making independent (and persistent) changes to bass, mid and treble in any program.
Noise Reduction
Detects undesirable, competing background noises and reduces their volume accordingly.
Soft Speech
Makes speech clearer by bringing out the smaller details in someone’s voice without making quiet background noises louder.
