They purchase raw materials to produce the goods and services for the other consumers.
Eg; textile industry buys raw cotton to make yarn.
Wholesalers
These are intermediaries who buy the goods in bulk from the manufacturers and resale them to the retailers.
Eg; fabric wholesalers distribute cloth to retailers & boutiques.
Retailers
These are performers who buy from wholesalers and sell the products to the final consumer in smaller units.
Eg; clothing stores
Final consumer
Performers who buy goods for personal or household uses.
Eg; need to buy t-shirt.
Marketing Specialist
If a firm cannot perform any one function, they may hire a specialist. They are 3rd parties who specialise in any one or more functions.
Eg; clothing store advertising agency, logistics etc.
Organizational consumer
B2B buyer
It refers to any org, institute or business entity that buys goods and services for reasons other than personal or household use.
Eg; org. buys 500 PCs for setting up an engineering team in the building.
