Full Fluids
f fluid, fl fluid - all liquids and foods that are liquid at room temperature.
Free Fluids
Any and all types of fluids allowed.
No Added Salt
NAS - diet that does not allow any additional salt.
Nil per os
NPO - nothing by mouth.
Regular Diet
reg - standard diet without restrictions.
Transitional Diet
trans - a diet that transitions from clear liquids to normal diet.
Vegetarian Diet
veg/veg'n - a diet that excludes meat.
1800 Calorie Diabetic
1800 cal diab - a diet plan for diabetic patients limited to 1800 calories.
1800 Calorie Diet according to the Canadian Diabetic Association
1800 CDA - a specific diet plan regulated by the Canadian Diabetic Association.
Low Sodium
