Draw Sheet
A sheet placed from a patient's shoulder to the bottom of their rear end, used to easily replace soiled or sweaty torso linens without changing the entire bed.
Miter Corner
A specific bed-making fold technique that anchors the linen tightly under the mattress to prevent it from pulling out.

A bed made while the patient remains in it, typically accomplished by rolling the patient side-to-side to roll dirty linen under them and replace it with clean linen.
Surgical Bed
A bed prepared with the top linen folded to the side or out of the way, allowing a patient arriving from surgery on a stretcher to be transferred in quickly without knocking linen onto the floor.
Circadian Rhythm
The natural 24\text{-hour} day and night cycle that regulates biological sleep and wake patterns.
Bariatrics
The branch of medicine that deals with the causes, prevention, and treatment of obesity.

Against Medical Advice (AMA)
The official term used when a patient chooses to leave a healthcare facility without receiving discharge authorization from a doctor or healthcare professional.

A completely made bed with the linen pulled all the way up to the top.
