What are the 5 stages in the IDEO process?
1. Understand
2. Observe
3. Visualise
4. Evaluate & Refine
5. Implement
What happens in stage 1: Understand?
Talk to experts, research. Get up to date on technology or culture.

What happens in stage 2: Observe?
Investigate how and when the product is used. Identify latent user needs.

What happens in stage 3: Visualise?
Quickly build a prototype.

What happens in stage 4: Evaluate and Refine?
Test the prototype on the user and get feedback. Return to stage 3 (build a better prototype) and iterate.

What happens in stage 5: Implementation?
Finalise design, create a manufacturing plan.
