What are the solubility rules for salts?

Potassium salts, sodium salts, and nitrates are soluble. Chlorides and bromides are generally soluble except for silver chloride and lead(II) chloride, which are insoluble. Most iodides are soluble, but lead(II) iodide is insoluble. Barium sulfate, lead sulfate, calcium sulfate, and strontium sulfate are only very slightly soluble.
