Define anthropometry
Systematic measurement of body size and proportions - weight, length & head circumference

When can you calculate the correct age using anthropometry?
If the baby was born before 40 weeks gestation
For babies born below <40 weeks, what must I ask myself before plotting? And how do I do that?
At would the baby’s gestational age be if they were born today?
Take gestational age at birth + weeks until reaching 40 weeks
For baby who is born 40 weeks / more what should I ask myself? And what do I do?
What would be the age of the baby was born at 40 weeks
Take age from date of birth + subtract the amount of weeks the baby was born
When the baby has reached 40 weeks gestational age on the graph, what do we do ?
Start counting from zero again
From 50 weeks on the chart what do we do / from the moment the baby reaches 40 weeks gestation?
Change to the WHO chat to continue plotting / 0 weeks on WHO chart
If a baby was born 28 weeks at gestation come to the clinic at 6 months, how early is the baby? What is the baby’s corrected age?
40 - 28 =12 weeks early (3 months) - so for to WHO chart at 6 months then - 3 months
So the corrected age is 13 weeks
