Baclofen

Relieves muscle spasms and stiffness, including those caused by multiple sclerosis or spinal cord conditions.

Beclometasone inhalers

Reduce airway inflammation to control asthma; some products are also used for COPD. Preventer treatment, not immediate relief of an attack.

Beclometasone nasal spray

Relieves nasal allergy symptoms, such as a blocked or runny nose from hay fever.

Beclometasone skin cream

Reduces itching, redness, and swelling from skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

Bendroflumethiazide

Treats high blood pressure and fluid build-up by helping the body pass extra salt and water in urine.

Benzoyl peroxide

Treats acne.

Benzydamine

Relieves pain and inflammation from sore throats, mouth ulcers, and other mouth irritation.

Beta blockers

Treat heart conditions such as angina, some irregular heart rhythms, and heart failure; some also treat high blood pressure or prevent migraines.

Betahistine

Treats symptoms of Meniere's disease, including vertigo, ringing in the ears, and hearing problems.

Betamethasone for eyes, ears and nose

Reduces inflammation and allergy symptoms in the eyes, ears, or nose, depending on the product.

Betamethasone for skin

Reduces itching, redness, and swelling from conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

Bimatoprost (Lumigan)

Lowers pressure inside the eye to treat glaucoma and ocular hypertension.

Bisacodyl

Treats constipation; also used to empty the bowel before some procedures.

Bismuth subsalicylate (Pepto-Bismol)

Relieves diarrhea, heartburn, and indigestion.

Bisoprolol

Treats high blood pressure, angina, and heart failure.

Brinzolamide

Lowers pressure inside the eye to treat glaucoma and ocular hypertension.

Budesonide inhalers

Reduce airway inflammation to control asthma; some products are used for COPD. Budesonide alone is not an immediate rescue treatment.

Reduces fluid build-up and swelling, including swelling associated with heart failure.

Buprenorphine for pain

Relieves moderate to severe pain.

Buscopan (hyoscine butylbromide)

Relieves stomach cramps and bowel spasms, including those associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
