This is present only in plant cells
Cell wall
Cell membrane
Found in both plant and animal cells. The outermost boundary of animal cells.
Cytoplasm
The fluid part of the cell. Contains mainly water and other cell organelles.
Nucleus
The largest cell organelle. Contains chromosomes or DNA (the hereditary material).
Mitochondria
Found in both plant and animal cells. Breaks down food to release energy.
This structure is made up of cellulose and is fully permeable.
Cell wall
It is selectively permeable. Controls the movement of substances in and out of cells.
Cell membrane
Chloroplast
Present only in plant cells, and contains the green pigment chlorophyll.
Vacuole
Present in plant cells, but absent in mature animal cells. Contains cell sap.
.................controls the activity of cells and is absent in mature RBCs.
Nucleus
Energy is released from food in................
Mitochondria
Prokaryotes
Cells without true a nucleus.
Aerobic respiration occurs here.
