the floorboards groaned beneath my feet, something behind me tapped softly into the window

girl enters old room , notices old mirror covered with sheet, uncovers it and sees something strange in the reflection. turns around nobody is there . looks bacl reflection has changed . runs out . walks past the room looking back , the lights are on .
