Flight Deck
The area of the aircraft where the pilots sit and the aircraft is controlled
Forward
The front portion of the aircraft; as a direction, toward the Flight Deck
Fuselage
The body of the airplane
Galley
The "kitchen" area of the aircraft where service items/supplies are stowed/prepared
Jumpseat
A retractable seat that Flight Attendants sit in for taxi, takeoff, and landing
Lavatory
Restroom on the aircraft
Pressurization
When an aircraft is pressurized as close to sea level as possible
Charter
A flight where a group of individuals (like a tour group or sports team) rents the entire plane
Deadhead
Crewmember travel for duty at the direction of the company
Domicile
The base of operation where a crewmember is assigned
Ferry
