Inorganic matters

compounds not primarily made of carbon, typically including minerals and metals, that do not originate from living organisms.

Saturated hydrocarbon

A type of hydrocarbon in which all carbon atoms are connected by single bonds, allowing the maximum number of hydrogen atoms to be attached.

Unsaturated hydrocarbon

A type of hydrocarbon that contains one or more double or triple bonds between carbon atoms, resulting in fewer hydrogen atoms than in saturated hydrocarbons.
