Vocabulary flashcards covering the basic structure and components of an atom, including the nucleus, protons, neutrons, and electrons.
Basic Components of the Atom
The two fundamental constituents that make up an atom: the nucleus at the center and the electrons revolving around it.
Nucleus (النواة)
The central part of the atom that contains both protons and neutrons.
Protons (البروتونات)
Subatomic particles located in the nucleus with the symbol p+ and a positive charge (+).
Neutrons (النيترونات)
Subatomic particles found inside the nucleus with the symbol n that have no electrical charge (neutral).
Electrons (الإلكترونات)
Negatively charged (−) particles with the symbol e− that revolve around the nucleus in specific orbits.
