How would you carry out the Illinois Agility Test?

  • Measure and place cones in correct place (10m length, 5m width, 4 cones evenly spaced down the middle)

  • Assistant stand in-line with start and finish line

  • Performer stands at the start line, assistant will say the “go“ command, start the stopwatch, and the performer will complete the course as fast as they can

  • Stop the clock when performer crosses the finish line.

How would you carry out the (Hand Grip) Dynamometer test?

  • Reset the dynamometer to 0

  • Hold (straight arm) above head, squeeze and slowly move arm down to by your side, and relax

  • Check the reading

  • Measure 30m and place timing gates/cones

  • Assistant stand in-line with finish line, says the “go” command, starts the stopwatch, performer starts moving

  • Stopwatch is stopped as performer crosses the finish line.

  • Measure and mark (with chalk) highest standing reach on wall

  • Jump as high as you can, mark it, measure distamce between marks.

  • Get sit and reach box, take shoes off

  • Put box against wall, feet against box face, legs fully extended.

  • Reach forward as far as you can and note the measurement you can reach on the box (reach and hold not using momentum to reach further)
