Mastitis (Postpartum Signs)
Localized breast pain or tenderness, redness, warmth, swelling, fever, chills, and flu-like symptoms.
Iron-Deficiency Anemia in Pregnancy (Risk Factors)
Short intervals between pregnancies, heavy menstrual bleeding before pregnancy, a diet low in iron, and carrying multiple fetuses.
Infant Suffocation Prevention
Practices including placing infants on their backs to sleep, using a firm mattress that fits snugly, avoiding drop-side cribs, and keeping soft objects and loose bedding out of the sleep area.

Side-Lying Position (Post-Seizure)
The priority position for a child immediately following a tonic-clonic seizure to maintain an open airway, allow oral secretions to drain, and reduce aspiration risk.
Gestational Trophoblastic Disease (Ultrasound Findings)
Sonographic appearance showing abnormal tissue with grape-like clusters or a snowstorm appearance, where a fetus is usually not present in a complete molar pregnancy.
Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (Risk Factors)
Precipitating factors including obesity, increased maternal age, a family history of diabetes mellitus, a previous large-for-gestational-age infant, and a history of gestational diabetes in a previous pregnancy.
Lupus Erythematosus Exacerbation Triggers
Events that can cause flare-ups, including trauma, infection, certain medications, UV or sunlight exposure, and stress.
Cast Neurovascular Compromise (Signs)
Critical extremity assessment findings including severe unrelieved pain, decreased sensation, absent or weak pulses, pallor or coolness, and inability to move the extremity.
Rheumatoid Arthritis Morning Stiffness Management
Techniques to reduce stiffness and loosen joints, such as applying warmth (warm shower, bath, or heating pad) and engaging in gentle range-of-motion exercises and movement.
Rheumatoid Arthritis Joint Mobility Interventions
Nursing care including encouraging appropriate physical activity and range-of-motion exercises, assisting with activities of daily living as needed, referring to physical or occupational therapy, and monitoring for fatigue to allow rest periods.
Hyperactive Bowel Sounds
Increased bowel sounds that can occur with diarrhea, anxiety, bowel inflammation, or reactions to certain foods.
Excessive Sodium Intake (Indications)
Signs in a client suggesting elevated sodium consumption, including swelling or edema, high blood pressure, and mental changes.
