How many players and substitutes are there in a game?

They can block or return the ball by hitting it by a maximum of three times.
How many points are games played up to and how can it be won?
By 25 points and won by 2 clear points.
What are some violations that can disqualify or make someone give the other team a point?
Reaching over the net and hitting the ball, the ball travelling under the net in a game, carrying/palming/running with the ball/ stepping over the base line when serving the ball?
What is one thing that can give a team a point if the ball is still on your side?
When the ball hits the net but fails to get over the net.
How is the court formed?
It is a rectangular shape and measure 18m x 9m.
How is the ball formed?
It measures 8 inches in diameter and weights between 9 and 10 ounces.
What is the area of the court where a team can get a point if it’s not in the court?
The out of bounds area.
How is the court height when running?
It is 2.43m (men’s height)
What is the height of a women’s net?
2.24m.
How do you score a point?
The ball must hit the ground within the outlined section in your opponent’s half. Also, if the other team gets the ball in the out of the bounds area of your side or if the opponent hits the ball on the net.
How do you serve?
They must do it behind the baseline and use over or underarm action and hit it with only the hand.
What are the two zones of a court?
The attacking zone (next to the net) and the defensive zone (back of the court)
How does rotation work?
Player must rotate in a clockwise position after every point
How do you win a game?
You have to score more points than your opponents. The best of 3 or 5 sets are generally played and the winners will be the first team to reach the required number of sets.

How many setters do you have in volleyball?
1 or 2 setter systems.
What is 1 setter system?
The setter will penetrate from anywhere on the court to set the ball. On reception, they will never receive the ball first.
What is 2 setter system?
The one who is in front court will always set. No penetration necessary. Also allow for second contact hits or surprise tips.
What is the reception formation?
A W formation, a player is in the middle, the two in the front go back and the two in the back go a little front.
How does switching work?
Every player MUST remain in their initial position, so the front players in the front, the back players in the back and then they can move when the ball crosses over the net from their side to the opponen’s side. Once ball is dead, they must return to their proper position.
