Straw man

Bandwagon
An argument that persuades by appealing to the popularity of an idea, suggesting that if everyone believes it, it must be true.
Sentimental appeal
Manipulating emotions to win an argument, rather than using valid logic or evidence.
Scare tactic
An argument that uses fear to influence decisions or actions, often exaggerating potential dangers to provoke an emotional response.
Appeal to false authority
An argument that relies on the opinion of someone who is not qualified or lacks expertise on the subject, suggesting their endorsement is legitimate despite lacking credible authority.
Straw man
