Experiential Learning Model
A learning process structured around five stages: experiencing, sharing, processing, generalizing, and applying.
Rodgers (2002) Definition of Reflection
The process of making meaning by identifying relationships and continuities within an experience, between different experiences, and between experience and existing knowledge.
Zones of Comfort Framework
A framework demonstrating that an activity does not inherently belong to a specific challenge level; instead, the zone belongs to the individual learner.
Boud and Walker (1998) Warning on Reflection
The caution that reflection can become ritualized when learners simply go through expected motions or produce responses they think they are supposed to give.
