Side effects of corticosteroids

Polyuria, polydipsia, polyphagia, poor wound healing, alopecia, immunosuppresion leading to an increased risk of bacterial infection

DO NOT USE WITH NSAIDS - will lead to gastroenteritis and potential GI ulceration

efficacy can be reduced when administered concurrently with phenobarbital
