Feature Boards

Loose, cinematic, and likely to be subject to change/overhaul week to week

Action Boards

Dynamic, anatomically sound, tightly edited boards

Sitcom/Comedy

Clear, entertaining, and simplified to favor broad acting

Script Driven

The Storyboard Artist is given a script and/ or radioplay to work from.

Board Driven

The Storyboard artist is given an outline with story beats and key concepts to work from. The artist must come up with the dialogue, action, and plot details themselves.

Storyboard Revisionist

Artists who work under the Director to fix and improve storyboards. Usually an entry-level position, but not always.
