Laryngeal collapse (Brachycephalic Syndrome)
Caused by chronic stress placed on the cartilage of the larynx by
other aspects of brachycephalic syndrome.
Larynx (voicebox) is not able to open as wide as normal causing
further restriction in airflow.
Hypoplastic trachea (Brachycephalic Syndrome)
Trachea has a smaller diameter than normal
Laryngeal saccules (Brachycephalic Syndrome)
small, pocket-like mucous membranes inside a dog's voice box (larynx) that get sucked outward into the airway due to chronic, high-effort breathing

Trichoepithelioma
Hypertrophic osteodystrophy
a painful developmental auto-inflammatory bone disease that affects fast-growing large and giant breed puppies
Bones in the dog affected by osteosarcoma
distal femur, proximal tibia, distal radius, proximal humerus
Osteosarcoma
a rare, aggressive type of cancer that begins in the cells that form new bone
Macroblepharon
an eye condition in dogs where the opening between the eyelids is too large, exposing too much of the eye surface
Pemphigus Foliaceus
a rare autoimmune skin disease where the immune system attacks proteins called desmoglein-1, causing fragile, superficial blisters, scaling, and crusting primarily on the face, scalp, and upper back

Undershot Jaw
lower part of jaw protrudes
Parvovirus
a highly contagious, life-threatening viral disease caused by canine parvovirus type 2 (CPV-2) that primarily attacks a dog's gastrointestinal tract and white blood cells
Osteochondrosis
a group of developmental or degenerative disorders affecting the growing skeleton
Anal sac adenocarcinoma
an aggressive, malignant cancer arising from the apocrine sweat glands in a dog's anal sacs
Ectopic ureter
a birth defect where the tube carrying urine from the kidney (the ureter) connects to the wrong place instead of the bladder
Calcium oxalate crystals and uroliths
can aggregate and grow into hard mineral stones (uroliths) when urine becomes supersaturated with calcium and oxalate
