How do the Old Testament and the New testament relate
The Old and New Testament relate because they both are one story that invites us into a relationship with God. The Old Testament contains promises that end up getting fulfilled in the New Testament. So the New Testament builds off the Old Testament. You can't have one without the other.
Jesus as the New Testament Described
Jesus is the New Testament because that is God’s new testament with all humanity. Jesus initiates a law of love that requires a change of heart. He is the New Testament because he is the prophet who fulfills the Old Testament.
