Garrison Cover Insignia

— Gold metal fouled anchor 1 1/16 inches in length

— Pinned on left side 2 inches from front seam

— Pinned 1 ½ from bottom edge

Garrison Cover Placement on Head

— Place 2 fingers between brow and cover

Collar Devices

— Worn 1 inch from the front edge and 1 inch from the upper edge of the collar

— 1/C One eagle anchor on each collar

— 2/C One anchor, on each collar

— 3/C One anchor, right collar

— 4/C No insignia

Khakis Ribbons

Centered ¼ inch (1/8 for marine options) above the left pocket

Name tags

Centered ¼ inch (1/8 inch for marine options) above right pocket (in line with ribbons)

Belts Buckles

— Male belt clip end touches LEFT side of buckle

— Female belt clip touches RIGHTside of buckle

— Gigline straight

— 2 Inches off the deck, should touch laces of shoes

— Worn only if officially awarded by the unit staff difected by CO

— Stars are worn for second/subsequent awarded ribbons

— 1 Silver star for every 5 gold bars

Mens Hair Grooming Standards

— May not exceed 4 inches length, 2 inches bulk (3 inches length, 2 inches bulk for MO’s)

— Cant interfere with/show under while wearing headgear

— Never touch ears/collar

— Tapered around sides/neck (shaveed to skin on MOs)

Mens Facial Hair Grooming Standards

— Beards are not permitted

— Mustaches cant extend more than ¼ inch beyond corners of mouth, or come over upper lip (hairs should not exceed ½ an inch full extended)

Womans Hair Grooming Standards

— May not exceed 2 inches in bulk

— Hair bun may not exceed 3 inches of bulk (inches in diameter)

— Hairstyles should be professional and balanced (no lopsided/extremely asymmetrical styles)

—Natural color/one color

— Cant interfere with the wearing of head gear

— Ponytails are authorized in service, working, and PTU. Can extend downward no more than 3 inches below the lower edge of the collar. Will not extend from the 43 inches outward behind the head, measured from the securing device

— Hair items must match hair color
