Warwick used quick thinking to break through Lancastrian barricades who took defensive stance, ordering an attack on houses/gardens to provide entry for his men into St Albans. 

-- led to death of somerset/northumberland/ henry shot in the neck with an arrow.

-June 1460, when Warwick, Salisbury and march landed in kent where lots of kent men rose in support of them

-. In July London opened its gates to them before leaving to meet king at Battle of Northhampton

Edward and Warwick led Feb 1461- battle of Mortimer's cross/2nd battle of St Alban's Edward ( his fisrt militay campaign) heard that an army led by jasper tudor was approaching gloucester.Edward positioned his soldiers to intercept the Lancastrian force coming from Wales strategically 

  • Edward gained the prestige that came w winning his first battle.
