Communism
A system where the government owns all property and businesses so everything can be shared equally.
Individualism
A belief that freedom and taking care of yourself are more important than obeying a group.
Socialism
Economic system where the government or public owns major services (like schools and hospitals), so everyone gets fair access.
Collectivism
A belief that what is best for the whole group is more important than what one person wants.
Nationalism
Extreme pride in your country, along with the belief that your country is better or more important than others.
Mercantilism
An old way for a country to get rich by selling goods to other places and gathering gold and raw materials from colonies.
Patriotism
Love, respect, and devotion for your country and its people.
Totalitarianism
A government where a single ruler or dictator has absolute, total control over every part of people's lives.
