Homeostasis
regulation of pH, temperature, oxygen, blood glucose .
Regulation of conditions inside the body to maintain a stable internal environment in response to both internal and external conditions
Automatic control systems: receptors detect a change, coordination centres interpret the change and makes decision (brain, spinal cord), effectors carry out the change such as muscle that contract or glands that release hormones. Nervous system sends electrical impulse to brain?, endocrine system releases hormones only affecting cells with correct receptors.
Negative feedback- maintains homeostasis through hormone levels
Identification of imbalance is recognised by receptors which sends electrical impulses to control centre which decides a response to change in order to achieve stable body temperature creating homeostasis and equilibrium CONTINUE THE VIDEO
