Forbidden City

An architectural foundation technique consisting of a massive rammed earthen core surrounded and wrapped by layered timber-framed platform structures.

A ritual hall structure from the early first century CE, reconstructed as a central building within a square enclosure surrounded by a circular outer boundary.
