They provide lots of things to do meaning less people are likely to leave and this results in less money going towards the economy and MNCs are more likely to earn money on cruise ships

Positives of tourism

Jobs are created, increased income tax means education, infrastructure and healthcare can be improved in areas

Negatives of tourism

Jobs are often seasonal so there’s a lack of employment for long periods of time, local culture and environment destroyed and increased pollution
