Is soul, itself, a body? No. If soul were a body, there would be two bodies in one plenum, which is absurd.
Argument on universal soul
Is there one, overarching, cosmic soul? No. If there were, then we would not have our own thoughts.
Is soul immortal?
The soul is not inherently immortal, because at some point you did not exist.
