What are the steps for the Brestle patch?

fill a syringe with 3ml of deionized water, discharge excess, record. Adhere latex patch, insert empty needle through the spongy foam perimeter not piercing the plastic, and remove the excess air. Inject the fluid and agitate the sample for 15 - 20 seconds. Draw out and reinject the solution 4 times minimum as per ISO 8502-6. empty into location based on type of testing being made.

What are the safety considerations of high voltage holiday detectors

1 - Make sure the structure to be tested in grounded to earth
2 - Check that the coating has cured prior to testing and no solvent fumes are present
3 - Check that the surface is dry
4 - Make sure adjacent workers are not touching the structure or the ground wire during testing
5 - Never point the wand at another person.
6 - Use the appropriate voltage setting for the anticipated DFT
