Vocabulary flashcards defining fundamental geometry terms: plane, ray, parallel, angle, and intersect.
Plane
A flat, two-dimensional surface that extends infinitely in all directions.
Ray
A part of a line that begins at a fixed starting point and extends infinitely in one direction.
Parallel
Lines, planes, or surfaces that remain equidistant from each other at every point and never meet or intersect.
Angle
A figure formed by two rays that share a common endpoint, known as the vertex.
Intersect
To meet, touch, or cross at a common point, line, or set of points.
