Capitalization

Conjunctions
Words connecting clauses, phrases, or words like "and," "but," "or," "so," "for," and "yet."
Parentheses
Punctuation marks used to set off additional information within a sentence.
Adjective
Word describing or modifying a noun or pronoun.
Adverb

Complete subject
Part of a sentence including all words describing the subject.
Complete predicate
Part of a sentence including all words describing the action or state of being of the subject.
Direct object
Noun or pronoun receiving the action of the verb directly.
Indirect object
Noun or pronoun indicating to whom or for whom the action of the verb is done.
Independent clause
Clause expressing a complete thought and can stand alone as a sentence.
Subordinate clause
Clause depending on an independent clause to form a complete sentence.
