-Common name: toxoplasma
-Acquired by ingesting bradyzoites in tissues or sporulated oocysts in contaminated water
Characteristics:
- Tachyzoites (rapidly multiplying)
- Bradyzoites (in tissue cysts)
- Oocysts (shed in feces)

Toxocara canis
-Common name: Dog roundworm
- Predilection site: small intestine
-Zoonotic: dont let your kids eat dirt
Characteristics:
- Adults: large white/cream colored worm, Mouth has 3 lips
- Egg: Thick rough pitted shell (golf ball)

-Common name: cat roundworm
- Predilection site: small intestine
Characteristics:
-Adult: larger cervical alae

Thelazia callipaeda
-Common name: Oriental eyeworm
-Adults live on the ocular surface
Characteristics:
- thin whitish worm
- 7-19mm long

Cuterebra jellisoni
-Common name: Rabbit bot fly
-Predilection site: subcutaneous tissue where migrating larvae can reach the eye, nasal passages, or CNS
