Are you ready to meet God?

En comparación con esta pregunta, todos los demás se vuelven absolutamente insignificantes.

Compared with this question, everything else becomes completely insignificant.

Puede que seas exitoso en los negocios, que tengas una familia maravillosa, y que goces de buena salud tanto física como mental.

You may be successful in business, have a wonderful family, and enjoy good physical and mental health.

Incluso puede que seas muy religioso y respetado por todos.

You may even be very religious and respected by everyone.

Pero, ¿puedes decir con toda certeza que estás listo para encontrarte con Dios?

But can you say with complete certainty that you are ready to meet God?

Para estar listo para encontrarse con Dios se necesita un nuevo nacimiento.

To be ready to meet God, a new birth is necessary.

Jesús dijo: “El que no nace de nuevo no puede ver el reino de Dios” (Juan 3:3).

Jesus said, “Unless a person is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Esta declaración no tiene excepciones.

This statement has no exceptions.

No puede ser ignorado puesto que fue dada por el Señor Jesucristo.

It cannot be ignored because it was given by the Lord Jesus Christ.

¿Has nacido de nuevo?

Have you been born again?

La necesidad del nuevo nacimiento surge del hecho de que todos somos pecadores de nacimiento y por práctica.

The need for the new birth comes from the fact that we are all sinners by birth and by practice.

El pecado es contrario a la naturaleza de Dios.

Sin is contrary to the nature of God.

Él odia el pecado y éste nos impide tener comunión con Él.

He hates sin, and it prevents us from having fellowship with Him.

La Biblia dice de Dios: “Muy limpios son tus ojos para mirar el mal, y no puedes contemplar la opresión” (Habacuc 1:13).

The Bible says that God’s eyes are too pure to look upon evil, and He cannot tolerate oppression.

Pero, aunque Dios odia el pecado, Él ama al pecador.

But although God hates sin, He loves the sinner.

De hecho, Él nos ama ya sea que andemos por el lado limpio o por el lado sucio del camino al infierno.

In fact, He loves us whether we walk on the clean side or the dirty side of the road to hell.

Debido a que Él nos ama, ha provisto el camino para que nuestra comunión con Él sea restaurada.

Because He loves us, He has provided a way for our fellowship with Him to be restored.

“Porque de tal manera amó Dios al mundo, que dio a su Hijo unigénito, para que todo aquel que cree en Él, no se pierda, mas tenga vida eterna” (Juan 3:16).

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

El juicio de Dios contra el pecado cayó sobre Cristo en la Cruz, y hay limpieza y perdón para todos los que creen en Él.

God’s judgment against sin fell upon Christ on the Cross, and there is cleansing and forgiveness for everyone who believes in Him.

“Pero a todos los que le recibieron, les dio el derecho de llegar a ser hijos de Dios, es decir, a los que creen en su nombre” (Juan 1:12).

But to everyone who received Him, He gave the right to become children of God—those who believe in His name.

Por medio de un nuevo nacimiento, cuando recibo a Cristo, creyendo que Él murió por mis pecados, soy nacido de nuevo en la familia de Dios, y puedo responder con alegría y seguridad a la pregunta: “¿Estás listo?”, diciendo: “¡Sí!”

Through a new birth, when I receive Christ and believe that He died for my sins, I am born again into God’s family and can answer the question “Are you ready?” with joy and confidence: “Yes!”

Have you experienced this change?

¿Has experimentado este nuevo nacimiento?

Have you experienced this new birth?

¿Has venido a Dios, arrepentido, reconociendo que eres un pecador que necesita la salvación?

Have you come to God in repentance, recognizing that you are a sinner who needs salvation?

¿Has renunciado a la idea falsa de que puedes ganar el favor de Dios por medio de tus “buenas” obras?

Have you rejected the false idea that you can earn God’s favor through your “good” works?

¿Has aceptado por fe al Señor Jesucristo como tu Salvador y Señor?

Have you accepted the Lord Jesus Christ by faith as your Savior and Lord?

No permitas que estas preguntas te ofendan, pues su propósito es guiarte a la bendición.

Do not let these questions offend you, because their purpose is to guide you to blessing.

Si te hablara acerca de un camino hacia la riqueza y la fama, probablemente estarías muy interesado.

If I told you about a path to wealth and fame, you would probably be very interested.

Lo que Jesucristo te ofrece tiene un valor infinito: perdón de pecados y vida eterna con Él en el Cielo.

What Jesus Christ offers you has infinite value: forgiveness of sins and eternal life with Him in Heaven.

Pon el asunto a prueba.

Put the matter to the test.

Do it now.

Los términos son sencillos: “Y este es su mandamiento: que creamos en el nombre de su Hijo Jesucristo, y que nos amemos unos a otros como Él nos ha mandado” (1 Juan 3:23).

The terms are simple: we should believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another as He commanded us.

¿Recibirás al Cristo vivo de Dios, quien murió, resucitó, y ahora ofrece salvación a todo el que cree en Él?

Will you receive the living Christ of God, who died, rose again, and now offers salvation to everyone who believes in Him?

¿Confiarás en Él ahora como tu Salvador personal?

Will you trust Him now as your personal Savior?

Lo que te salva no es adoptar alguna creencia, o identificarte con alguna iglesia, o convertirte en una persona religiosa.

What saves you is not adopting a belief, identifying with a church, or becoming a religious person.

Es el aceptar a una Persona: el Hijo de Dios.

It is accepting a Person: the Son of God.

Tu aceptación o el rechazo de Él contesta la solemne pregunta: “¿Estás listo?”

Your acceptance or rejection of Him answers the solemn question: “Are you ready?”

“Y así como está decretado que los hombres mueran una sola vez, y después de esto, el juicio” (Hebreos 9:27).

And just as it is appointed for people to die once, and after this comes judgment.

Cuando estés delante de Dios, ¿estarás manchado con tu pecado o habrás sido lavado por medio de la fe en Jesucristo?

When you stand before God, will you be stained by your sin, or will you have been washed through faith in Jesus Christ?

El asunto es bastante claro: tu respuesta a Jesucristo ahora determinará tu destino eterno.

The matter is very clear: your response to Jesus Christ now will determine your eternal destiny.

“Y en ningún otro hay salvación, porque no hay otro nombre bajo el cielo dado a los hombres, en el cual podamos ser salvos… Cree en el Señor Jesús, y serás salvo, tú y toda tu casa” (Hechos 4:12

“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved… Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and all your household” (Acts 4:12).

No hay salvación en ningún otro, porque no hay otro nombre bajo el cielo por el cual podamos ser salvos... Cree en el Señor Jesús y serás salvo.

There is salvation in no one else, because there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved… Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.

Debes encontrarte con Dios.

You must meet God.
