Molarity
A measure of concentration defined as the number of moles of solute divided by liters of solution (moles/L).
Dilution Equation
The formula M1V1=M2V2 (or m1×v1=m2×v2), where M1 and V1 represent initial molarity and volume, and M2 and V2 represent final molarity and volume.
Molar Mass of AlCl3
The molecular weight of aluminum chloride, given as 133.34gmol−1.
Reaction of H2SO4 and NaOH
The balanced aqueous molecular equation H2SO4(aq)+2NaOH(aq)→2H2O(l)+Na2SO4(aq).
Class Exam Average
The overall class average score achieved on Exam 1, which was 74%.
